Losing a loved one is an incredibly challenging time for the entire family. Amid the emotional turmoil and the various arrangements that need to be made, having shotguns or firearms in the home can add to the stress. If the deceased owned shotguns and/or firearms, they are now considered unlicensed. While the police typically approach these situations with understanding, it is crucial to arrange for the shotguns and firearms to be transferred to registered firearms dealer (RFD) storage as soon as possible.

If a family member has a vacant slot for a shotgun, that can be accommodated. However, transferring a firearm requires a variation on a Firearms Certificate (FAC), which can take several months to process. We offer a convenient solution: we can collect and securely store the shotguns and rifles at the same cost as regular collection, allowing you one less thing to worry about during this difficult time.
